Create. Inspire. Unity.
Born in Portugal, but a life-long San Diego resident, I have completed 8 x at the CrossFit Games, including winning the Affiliate Cup in 2014. I started traveling the world in 2010 teaching seminars for CFHQ, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Weightlifting. I primarily teach Level 1 and Level 2 seminars for CrossFit HQ now which gives me the opportunity to make an impact on your everyday CF athlete and coaches!!! I am also a CrossFit Certified Level 3 Trainer (CF-L3).
Fitness has always been the most important thing in my life. I played sports all throughout high school and played club volleyball during my freshman year of college. The next 3 years I was an NCAA Division 1 Track and Field athlete at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I competed in the 200M and 400M sprints including an all-time best of 47.70 in the 400 Meters. After college I began competing in triathlons in 2006, completing a 1/2 Ironman, numerous sprint distance races, and a few Olympic distance triathlons which eventually led me to CrossFit in 2008.
I have been coaching full time since 2008. I have coached CrossFit, done nutrition coaching, running and triathlon programs and founded Invictus Endurance (previously San Diego Anaerobic Endurance). I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion for health and fitness to anyone interested in living a healthier, happier life.
